Concept #1

For my first concept, I decided to draw a dock simpler to the one Nelson drew in class in order of me to become familiar with the idea of orthographic drawings. I also used water colours on the orthographic drawing to test the colours and to see if they work with the drawing.

For my second concept, I wanted to draw floating islands. As I was shading using my brush markers, one of my markers started to run out and I had to stop shading. I would like to improve on my water colouring because most of the colours in this drawing are too red.

Chains

The chains were very confusing to draw since the links are connected to the other. If I were to improve on this drawing, I would had used pencil first then used pen to draw the outline.

Ropes

The ropes however, were more simple to draw. I had used reference from google images and used simple shapes for me to know how they overlap.

This was homework to find a random 3D object and make a dissectioned shape. I used my brush markers to add shading to make the drawing more organic and realistic.

Using Random shapes in order to create volume and 3D. While drawing, it got easier to create more complex shapes and making look 3D.

While drawing the sack animations, it got easier to add more animation to the sack such as jumping, falling and a turnaround animation.

I would like to improve on my pen drawing and my shading. The shading in this drawing does not match with the lighting and the real object. Also, the lines are too cartooney.

 Both the sphere and the cylinder shading is right however, the shading on the cube is wrong.  I would like to improve on shading.
