UV Mapping
Using the Lambert Material helped a lot especially for the head of my character model. Once I was done sewing and sticking together shells, I coloured the shells using Photoshop.

When I went back to my model, it turned out wrong. So I went back to the UV Editor and it reset itself. I realised that I forgot to optimise the UV shells and had to do another one.
